Thermage FLX®️ uses patented radiofrequency technology to safely heat the deep layers of the skin. It treats up to 4.3mm deep, selectively heating the subcutaneous tissue fibers to temperatures between 55℃ and 75℃, stimulating the growth of new collagen that continues for 3-6 months after treatment. This leads to significant improvements in skin laxity and wrinkles. It can be applied to the face, neck, and various parts of the body, enhancing skin elasticity, reducing sagging, and improving skin smoothness and texture. This is a patented exclusive monopolar radiofrequency technology that utilizes high-frequency electrical currents (RF) oscillating approximately 6.78 million times per second to generate heat through friction in the deep layers of the skin. The effects of a single treatment can last up to 12 months.

The second phase of Thermage FLX involves stimulating a healing response. The heat energy activates the self-repair mechanism; simultaneously, due to the thermoplastic nature of adipose tissue, the fat tissue in the subcutaneous area is redistributed, lifting protruding areas and filling in depressed areas, leading to smoother skin and the elimination of wrinkles.
熱瑪吉療程後的第三階段是新膠原生成，治療後3天到1個月，纖維母細胞不斷釋放膠原蛋白，新膠原不斷合成，膠原層得到補充。
The third phase of Thermage FLX is the generation of new collagen. From 3 days to 1 month after treatment, fibroblasts continuously release collagen, resulting in ongoing synthesis of new collagen and replenishment of the collagen layer.
熱瑪吉療程後的第四階段是膠原鞏固期，治療後1-3個月，隨著膠原的新生，數量增多，排列更緻密，受損的膠原層得到補充，老化鬆弛皮膚進一步得到修復。治療後新膠原生成及鞏固產生了後續的持續效應，即做完熱瑪吉後2-6個月逐漸出現的，有些可能在半年後會看到較好的效果，皮膚鬆弛的改善程度在治療後4-6個月達到頂峰；皮膚紋理在治療後10個月內持續改善，也就是說，做完熱瑪吉後如果你對即刻的效果是滿意的，那麼後續的效果就會讓你一直有驚喜，而且長達1年之久！
The fourth phase of Thermage FLX is the collagen consolidation period. From 1 to 3 months post-treatment, as new collagen is formed, its quantity increases, and its arrangement becomes denser. The damaged collagen layer is replenished, and aging, lax skin undergoes further repair. The generation and consolidation of new collagen create a sustained effect, which gradually becomes noticeable 2 to 6 months after the Thermage treatment. Some may even see better results after six months, with the improvement in skin laxity reaching its peak 4 to 6 months post-treatment. Skin texture continues to improve within 10 months after treatment. This means that if you are satisfied with the immediate results after Thermage, the subsequent effects will continue to surprise you for up to a year!

首部熱瑪吉（Thermage）誕生於1995 年，是由美國一位整形醫生 Edward W.Knowlton 博士發明，主要是因為在手術過程當中，整形醫生都需要一種微波機器作電灼，電灼之後皮下的膠原蛋白層能夠迅速收縮，利用這個原理，熱瑪吉能夠很好的收縮皮膚，臉部，頸部，手部，手臂，腹部，大腿，尤其是膝關節等部位都可以得到很好的治療。目前已經發展到了五代熱瑪吉Thermage FLX。以往的熱瑪吉都有共同的點，就是疼痛感太重及深度不夠(2.4MM)，能量只到達真皮淺層，不到筋膜層就無法導致膠原纖維和彈力纖維的變性收縮。
The first Thermage® was born in 1995 and was invented by Dr. Edward W. Knowlton, a plastic surgeon from the United States. The invention was primarily driven by the need for a microwave device for cauterization during surgical procedures. After cauterization, the collagen layer beneath the skin could rapidly contract. Utilizing this principle, Thermage effectively tightens the skin, providing excellent treatment for areas such as the face, neck, hands, arms, abdomen, thighs, and especially around the knees. It has now evolved into the fifth generation, Thermage FLX. Previous versions of Thermage shared common issues, including excessive pain and insufficient depth (2.4mm), which meant the energy only reached the superficial dermis and could not affect the fascia layer to induce the denaturation and contraction of collagen and elastin fibers.
